How to know the number of copies made by copier and by toner color

The copier rental or leasing sector increasingly demands optimization of consumable costs, and also keeps track of substitutions. We reduce surpluses in stock (expenses over time) and do not deliver more than necessary to the customer’s home (loss or theft), for this we have developed the tool that optimizes the cost of consumables for photocopiers through exact control.

Our copier management program knows daily the copies made and the status of the toners (as long as the sensor or chip offers such information), with this data we can know when a toner has been changed and calculate the number of copies made between the replacement dates. The copier management software will calculate the total copies for each copier in our parks and by color of the consumable.

Furthermore, thanks to the total number of copies made per consumable we can know how many times the toner has been changed and obtain an average number of copies per toner, quite useful for a stock forecast, for example. Of course, with so much information we could not ignore obtaining the profitability of the machine.
